ClubCause collects only the information needed to review, verify, and administer club funding requests.

This policy applies to information submitted through the ClubCause website or sent to our official contact email.

01 · WHAT WE COLLECT

Application information

We collect the club and school name, faculty advisor name and official school email, number of students served, funding purpose, itemized budget, and the submitting student’s contact email.

02 · WHY WE COLLECT IT

Review and verification

We use this information to review eligibility, contact the student and faculty advisor, confirm school authorization, verify the budget, arrange an approved payment destination, prevent misuse, and maintain required project records.

03 · WHO MAY ACCESS IT

Limited access

Private application information may be accessed only by authorized ClubCause reviewers and, when necessary, the faculty advisor, authorized school staff, and ClubCause’s fiscal sponsor or service providers supporting verification and compliance. Student and advisor contact details are never published on project pages.

04 · RETENTION & DELETION

Kept only as needed

Unapproved application contact information is deleted within 12 months after the final decision unless it must be retained for safety, fraud prevention, or legal compliance. Approved project records are kept while the project is active and for the recordkeeping period required by the school or fiscal sponsor. You may request correction or deletion by emailing clubcauseverify@gmail.com, subject to required recordkeeping.

MINOR PRIVACY

Do not submit passwords, banking details, government identification numbers, medical records, or other sensitive student records. ClubCause does not sell personal information.
